Soul Nourishing Relaxation Massage

**This offering is intended to support overall relaxation and stress relief. It is excellent for those wishing to make bodywork a regular part of their self care practice.**

Massage is the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body including muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, skin, joints and other connective tissues with the intention of healing.  Massage helps to calm the nervous system, providing deep relaxation, as well as relieving soft-tissue aches and pains, improving range of motion, increasing local circulation, and providing an overall sense of peace and well-being.   My massage style integrates techniques from Swedish Massage,  Myofascial Release, Thai Yoga Massage, Ayurvedic Marma Point Therapy and Reiki, and is intended to help encourage well-being, deep relaxation and rejuvenation for the recipient on all levels--body, mind and soul. My pressure has been described as gentle, yet firm and steady. Techniques used may include long sweeping strokes, stretching, energetic and trigger point work, joint movement and energetic holds all encouraged to support relaxation and to help release deeper tension patterns in the body. Full body massage is recommended to encourage overall balance and connection.
